A Bristlecone Pine tree deep in the Dixie National Forest, Utah, which has seen some hard times. Bristlecone Pine trees will only grow at very high elevations (above 9,000' or so,) and on cliffs where they receive a lot of high winds. They are very rare and are also thought to be the oldest living things on earth. |
